Re: Amiga models objects

There might be some modern models that could be saved to an old lightwave format. Not sure how it has changed over the years. Obj might be an option to. Good question, Object format up to LW7 is the same, scene format deviates a little. After LW7 things change, although one can convert objects from...

Re: Magazines' tutorials

OMG, I remember Real 3D. That was promising to be the killer high end application for Amiga. Goodness. Anyone use it? I had, around ’93 i had happened to have Real3D 1.4, making simple bouncing balls of metal on my A500. Its CSG balls were an amazing feat, no polygons at all no matter how close you...

If the BBS software supports thumbnails for posts (just in the objects section) it would make navigation very quick. Otherwise, I could put together a gallery from ...

Re: Maybe we need a new section in the forum

I see,
Could we then have a Forum section called, say, "Objects Repository" with screenshots as attachments followed by the Aminet link, perhaps?

Re: Maybe we need a new section in the forum

FTP Repo should work OK, the only obstacle right now is that this site is hosted on the server I have my company's site, so there is not much space I can allocate to FTP. BTW, what is HOL? UPDATE: I don't know if you are aware of it but there is a whole section on Aminet about 3D objects etc. here: ...

Re: Amiga models objects

@Walkero Not that I know of, however, the LW5.0r archive has a lot of objects for use non-commecially.

Your idea of making a LW5 Content repository for those that wish to share their creations would be great!
